

It's a unique chance to show off more of the Wizarding World, even just a little bit. The game features Quidditch teams from around the world, from Bulgaria to the USA. The closest Harry Potter has is Quidditch World Cup, which shows a bit more of the universe, even if it's just sports teams.

The bulk of them tell original stories or explore parts of the universe that the films didn't like Knights of the Old Republic, Jedi Fallen Order, and The Force Unleashed. As a counter-example, look at the best Star Wars games available. Licensed movie games have historically been notoriously bad, and Harry Potter does little to work against that assumption. The bulk of Harry Potter games have simply been adaptions of the films, and not overly ambitious adaptions at that. Like many adaptions of famous series, Harry Potter has closely stuck to its source material, with games not wanting to deviate.
